The Dreadcrown Keep had been discovered a thousand years before Raggard Thornbeard ever set foot in the cavern that housed it.
Through weeks of combing old records, he found almost nothing—only the name, the clan that first marked it, and a crude map penned by an expedition of the Emeraldvein clan with a single note in the margin: “strange, feels wrong… we mapped it, then backtracked and went around the cavern.” The route lay nearly a month’s travel from Gunabash through the twisting tunnels of the Deepways, and every page Raggard turned seemed to suggest the same thing: in all that time, no one had claimed it, moved it, or dared to understand it.
When Raggard and a small contingent of his kin finally reached the place, the cavern itself felt like proof the world had been altered on purpose. It was vast, but perfectly smooth—floor, walls, and ceiling—like stone melted and set again by magic rather than carved by time. Nothing lived there. No moss. No lichen. No fungus. No insects. No small creatures hiding in cracks—because there were no cracks. Only an empty stillness that pressed against the ears, and the Keep at the center of it all, radiating a quiet, patient evil that did not lessen with distance.
They had barely begun to circle it when something else appeared—small, strange, and sudden. A little creature like a cross between a halfling and a house cat, wearing a long vest swollen with pockets, stepped into the cavern as if it had always belonged there. It held out a folded paper and winked as Raggard took it.
“I am Flauge, the Heraloo,” it said softly. “Be careful.”
And then it vanished, leaving only the tower’s shadow and a page of history that read like a warning written too late—of devils dragged through a portal, of an infernal keep hauled into mortal stone, and of the order that later rose to watch the wounds between worlds: the Gatewatch Covenant, whose lantern-mark once burned over Lanternhold until Malmath the Defiler turned his cult’s attention upon them and razed the whole place into ash.
This relic takes its form from that impossible fortress—crown-spined, infernal in silhouette, and wrong in a way honest stone can never be. It stands as a reminder that some structures were not raised to defend the living, but to anchor what should never have crossed into this world at all.
At the table, The Dreadcrown Keep offers a steady, controlled roll with a clear tray and a satisfying fall—built to feel substantial in play, and to sit like a looming centerpiece when the dice are still.

Materials
Each relic is crafted using high-quality PLA filament chosen for its durability, consistency, and fine detail. This material allows for precise forms, clean edges, and a finish worthy of both display and long use at the table.
Finish
Every piece is printed in small batches, carefully cleaned, and hand-finished to ensure smooth dice travel and a refined surface. Minor layer lines or subtle texture variations are a natural result of the forging process and are considered part of each relic’s character.
Care & Use
Designed for tabletop use and long-term enjoyment. Avoid prolonged exposure to high heat or direct sunlight, as with any finely crafted tabletop piece.
Clean gently with a soft, dry cloth as needed.
